The Message

The Word of God testifies to a special grace being released to God's people in the last days: "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse." (Malachi 4:5-6)

The great need of the hour is for fathers - and all of us need to hear a father's voice. It is the words and love of a father that impart a sense of identity, acceptance, approval, and affirmation. This establishes within that great sense of worth, of being loved, valued, and wanted, along with that important inner belief that we have permission to succeed in life.

Public Book Signing - John Alley - The Message

God is our Father, and so created us to need and respond to fathering. Because He is our Father, He supplies fathering, and does so by raising fathers in the faith to nurture us and help us fulfill our destiny. The Spirit of God is always at work to bring believers to maturity: from spiritual infancy, to being children, to being strong 'young men,' to becoming fathers - those of whom the Scriptures say, "You have known him who is from the beginning." (1 John 3: 12-14) Both Biblical and church history is full of the stories of such fathers that God raised for the sake of His people.

A new kind of Christian television is required: one that will seek to successfully bring the words and messages of such fathers to the body of Christ. God is restoring apostles and prophets as an extensive grace to the church, and amongst these there will arise very mature fathers. Their voice must be heard, for the sake of the whole church in the whole world. This is important for the advancement of the Kingdom of Christ, for the unity of the body of Christ, and for the maturity of the church.

This is a very important step if we are to see (and we must) the fulfillment of Ephesians 4: 12-13, "...so that the body of Christ may be built up, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Just like fulfilling the Great Commission, this is a requirement that must be completed on earth before the coming of Christ.

Such apostolic fathers are to teach the believers how to love one another. In particular, such fathers show the love of God the Father to the leaders of Christ's body, and teach the fivefold ministry how to love each other. This is such a crucial work. The prayers of Christ reveal that we must become one, just as the Father and the Son are one, so that the world will believe that God sent His Son to be the saviour of the world. This is, therefore, the only realistic basis upon which the Great Commission itself can be completed.

This is an apostolic message - and is one part of that message which Christ instructed John Alley to take to the nations. This message has been going out - at conferences, on CD's, to churches, in books, by mission teams, and on DVD's. But now it is by television that we must bring the voice of fathers to the body of Christ worldwide.
